I was born in France in a small town near Lyon I spent my surrounded by narrow streets cozy caf s and the smell of fresh bread I loved France but at eighteen I decided to leave and start a new life in Germany I packed my things said goodbye to my friends and traveled there alone When I arrived everything felt unfamiliar I rented a small room and had to find a job learn German and get used to a new city by myself The first weeks were difficult I often felt lonely and missed France One day I met a girl named Lena who helped me explore the city and make new friends After a few months I became more confident I found a job improved my German and began to feel at home I still missed France but Germany became my second home and a place where I started a completely new chapter of my life
